We Scope the Project
Once we know the extent of the work, we put together a detailed scope covering tear-off, sheathing repairs, house wrap, flashing, trim, and soffit, not just the siding boards. If you're filing an insurance claim, we build the scope so nothing gets left out.
You Choose Your Style
We walk you through LP SmartSide lap, shake, board and batten, and panel profiles, along with trim and soffit options. Choose factory-finished ExpertFinish colors for a longer finish warranty, or primed boards painted any color you like. Financing is available for qualified homeowners.

What is composite siding?
Composite siding is made from wood fibers or strands bound with resins and waxes, then treated for durability. LP SmartSide, the brand we install most, is an engineered wood product that gives you the look of real wood with far better resistance to moisture, impact, fungal decay, and termites.
Why do you recommend LP SmartSide?
LP SmartSide is treated through LP's SmartGuard process to resist moisture, fungal decay, and termites, and it is built to stand up to hail and Minnesota freeze-thaw cycles. It comes in 16-foot lengths, which means fewer seams on your walls. It is also backed by a 5/50-year limited warranty: 5 years of 100% labor and material replacement, then 50 years of prorated coverage.
Will a repair actually stop my leak for good?
LP SmartSide is one of the most impact-resistant siding products available, and it generally handles hail better than vinyl. No siding is hail-proof, though. If a storm rolls through, we'll inspect your siding for free and document any damage for your insurance company.
Does LP SmartSide need to be painted?
You have two choices. ExpertFinish boards come painted at the factory and include an additional 15-year finish warranty. Primed boards can be painted any color you want after installation. Either way, the paint will need refreshing eventually, but far less often than real wood.
Will my homeowners insurance cover new siding?
It depends on the cause and extent of the damage. Hail and wind damage are often covered, and many homeowners don't realize how much damage their siding has taken. We inspect, document everything with photos, and meet with your adjuster to make sure you receive everything your policy owes. Roughly 90% of our projects involve insurance, so we know this process well.
